The Color and what the plant looks like.

My plant is colored blue or purple with little petals sticking out.When its fused together it looks like a bonnet. The stem colored brown with green leaves that also stick out. Sometimes the flower can be white due to how it grows.When its small it could turn out green also.

Where the plant grows

The flower Lupine grows and can be found in the pastures,hill side, and in any opened areas.The seeds produced grow in flatten pod.It likes to grow in full sun to light shade so it could grow in the sun light.It also likes to grow in moisted areas.It can also grow wild in northern United States.

Is the plant edible

No,the plant is not edible in fact,the flower Lupine contains alkaloids with is posinus  to cattle and humans.

Intresting facts

The latin word for Lupine which is Lupinus sps. also means wolf.If you look at the roots,there,you could see little lumps on the roots.Lupine,is a genus flowering plant for the legume family.Lupine can also be known lupin.Lupine can be told that the plant belongs to the pea family.
